A reminder to join us in the SVA MFA Design Criticism department for the final two lectures in our Spring 2014 series. On Thursday March 27 we host author, curator, and AIGA Gold Medalist Ellen Lupton, who will discuss the ways in which the art of narrative infuses all aspects of her practice. On Tuesday, April 1, we welcome, all the way from The Netherlands, designer and Works that Work publisher Peter Bil’ak to talk about the experience of starting a new magazine at a time when many printed periodicals are disappearing. Our lectures are followed by lively Q&A sessions, led by current D-Crit students, and refreshments in the D-Crit Reading Room.
Thanks to the generous support of our series partner, Mailchimp, lectures are free and open to the public, but you do need to register to save your seat!
