RPGA Studio, Inc. is looking for a graphic artist who wants to use his/her creativity to
help create a cultural shift in the minds of pedestrians, bicyclists, and drivers. The ideal
candidate will love to draw, know how to use the Adobe product suite, be interested
in creating animation videos around transportation safety, and be fine working in a
small creative non-profit studio. They will also be willing to learn new technologies
like 3D design and fabrication tools and willing to sometimes work with youth.
RPGA Studio, Inc. is a non-profit studio that uses creativity to address community
issues. We have 4 core initiatives: Land Equity (Gardens, Murals), Pedestrian Penguin
(Transportation behavior shift), Queens Art Intervention (collaborative outdoor
artistic interventions), and our Creative Challenge in 3D Printing.
Requirements:
• Must be a declared Design major
• 10-12 hrs. per week commitment for the duration of the Fall 2015 semester
• Strong communication and time management skills
Compensation:
• $12/hr. stipend, to be paid in full upon successful completion of the internship
