Position Setting:
The New York City School Construction Authority (SCA) is a public sector entity,
responsible for building new public schools and managing the design, construction and
renovation of capital projects in New York City’s more than 1,200 public school buildings.
Our mission is to design and construct safe, attractive and environmentally sound public

Job Description:
Assist the Internet Website Committee in updating the existing public website and creating prototypes of the new public website. Enhance website images and content using various graphic design programs. Improve website content searches by utilizing Microsoft
SharePoint search engine and html tag. Complete website programming using
Dreamweaver, HTML and .NET coding software. Work closely with the SharePoint
administration team with content and reports publishing. May be involved in SharePoint
application deployments and management.
Work Schedule:
During the academic school year, participants are allowed to work up to twenty-hours per
week. During the summer months, students work a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week.Internship Opportunity
Salary:$15.00 per hour
Program Duration:
Academic Year: October – May
Summer: June – August
This position is slated to begin in November, 2014, with the potential to continue through the summer and the remainder of the student’s undergraduate studies.
Position Requirements:
• Sophomore or Junior currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor Degree
program Information Systems preferred.
• Candidates must possess good knowledge of website programming and design
programs
GPA Requirement:
3.0 or above (cumulative)
