OVERVIEW
Constructive, an award-winning branding and design studio in Noho is looking for one exceptional design student to fill our 6 Month Design Apprenticeship. We are looking for a self-starter that can take guidance and run with it—a highly motivated and talented creative thinker who understands interactive and likes to jump in and solve problems. The ideal person has a great eye for design systems, understands typographic and layout fundamentals, and loves to explore the world of interactive design and coding techniques. Students must be comfortable in Adobe Creative Suite and understand the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Experience or an interest in data visualization and illustration is a plus.
DETAILS
This is a paid apprenticeship, with compensation offered based on experience and bonuses based on performance. Our standard work week is 9:30AM to 6PM, Monday-Friday, with Summer Fridays cutting out at 1:30PM. This internship is available for June 1 start and runs through mid-December, 2016. The summer session must be full time, though we are willing to adjust to a part time schedule for the fall to accommodate students with class schedules. National holidays and academic breaks are observed, and paid personal time off is accrued on a monthly basis. Based on performance, there is potential for advancement to a full-time position once the apprenticeship concludes.
