Currently the Mashable Studios team is looking for a Motion Graphics intern to help with designing and creating motion graphic animations for Mashable’s Snapchat Discover channel as well as helping with other creative projects on Mashable’s multitude of platforms. The ideal candidate would be a recent graduate with a background in design/animation/film and not only can create amazing animations but also has a good eye for layout, typography and color.
Responsibilities/Requirements:
- The ideal candidate can take on a project assignment and work independently, and is able to take direction and adapt quickly to revisions.
- Ability to work fast and efficiently in a time-sensitive content-driven environment.
- Must have thorough understanding of Snapchat and an interest in emerging platforms.
- Proficiency in After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Cinema 4D knowledge is a plus.
- Must provide reel.
