• Job Description:
  Billboard magazine is looking for an intern to help our design department. Timing is flexible, but we’re looking for someone who would be available to start around January or February. We would expect someone to work a minimum of 15 hours a week (between 10-6, M-F). Candidates should be fast learners with knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. Candidates should be eager to learn, have positive energy and the ability to follow detailed directions. An interest in popular music is helpful, but not a requirement. Our interns are paid $8.75 an hour.

• Job Requirements: Some tasks you will be helping with include: -creating clipping paths in Photoshop -flow text and place images for templated pages -help apply styles to bigger packages -help convert graphics from the magazine into assets that our web team can use -create PDFs -update our mini wall -create a binder to document our illustrators There may be opportunity for more complex assignments as the internship progresses and the candidate demonstrates their abilities.
