The Abrams Children’s Division is seeking a design intern, summer 2016, to work closely with the design group on our list of picture books, novels, board books, novelty and non-fiction books for children ages 0 to 18. This individual should have an interest in current book design and learning more about the publishing process. They will work closely with the design staff – reading and evaluating books for design, laying out interior designs, learning to input text corrections and assisting on creative design projects.

Intern can expect to learn

Beyond design, the individual will interact with marketing, editorial and production departments, offering a broad introduction to the publishing world.
