Madeo internship is for designers committed to learning more about creating impact through good communication and product design.
ABOUT YOU
You believe in your design skills and in the value of design. You have a genuine interest in learning how to create impact through digital user experiences, what makes a successful website, and how to communicate through design. You are pursuing your education or already starting your career within design (visual, graphic, UI, or UX) — and want to learn from professional hands-on experience.
A CAMPUS-LIKE WORKING CULTURE
Our office is between SoHo and the West Village in Manhattan. We’re in a collaborative building with over 200 exceptional companies, freelancers, and creative teams. There are daily talks, startup events, learning opportunities and simply an awesome environment. We treat it like our campus, where we learn, meet new people and work on projects that get us excited.
A TEAM EXPERIENCE
You will work directly with more senior designers, a creative director, content strategists, a digital project manager, and other team members in a small team environment. You may also collaborate with client teams from interesting non-profits, startups, and leading companies.
THE BASICS
— This is a Full-Time internship, but can be Part-Time depending on your availability.
— Accepted candidates may start early September and typically intern through the middle of December.
— Candidate must be willing to work from our office in NYC.
— The internship is open to current design students and college graduates.
— Interns receive a stipend for covering transportation and lunch expenses.
— Interns may receive academic credit for the internship experience depending on their university’s requirements if they are a current student.

Intern can expect to learn

THE FALL INTERNSHIP
You may work on client and internal projects to elevate how companies and organizations communicate and engage with people. You will support the research that influences our design strategy for non-profits, startups, and impactful corporations. You will support senior designers on website design projects for diverse clients and within Madeo. You will learn more about producing projects through collaboration. You will learn about tools that help collaborations become successful.
