    Marie Claire is looking for interns in the art department for Fall 2016. Candidates must have a strong interest in magazine design, photography, typography and love for fashion. Excellent communication and organizational skills are a must, plus the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. He/she should be resourceful, responsible and a creative problem-solver. The intern will assist in the daily workflow of the magazine. Duties will include but are not limited to: Maintaining and updating the mini wall for each issue, preparing and updating flip books for Editor-in-Chief and Design Director, photo research, and preparing layouts for presentation. Under the guidance of the art department, the intern will experience the process of a national monthly magazine. This is the perfect position for a dynamic, self-motivated college student looking for hands-on experience. Experience with Photoshop and InDesign is required, as well as a major relating to graphic design. This is a non-paid internship and for school credit ONLY. Candidates MUST receive school credit and be able to commit to at least 2 full days a week for our internship program at our New York office.
