The Peter A. Krueger Summer Internship Program offers individuals the opportunity to explore different facets of museum work, including: raising public awareness about the museum, its exhibitions and public programs; working to promote the concept of design and design thinking; learning museum-specific operations systems; and assisting with fundraising efforts as well as general administrative tasks in support of different departmental goals. Approximately 5–10 Krueger Internships are available each summer.
Internship Dates: June 15, 2015 to August 21, 2015 (10 weeks).
Stipend: $2,500
Departments accepting applications include: Curatorial (Drawings and Prints); Curatorial (Product Design and Decorative Arts); Curatorial (Textiles); Curatorial (Triennial Exhibition); Curatorial (Socially Responsible Design); Cross-Platform Publishing; Digital & Emerging Media; Communications and Marketing; Development and Membership; and Education.
