NYPIRG, the student advocacy group on campus at QC, is hosting Sustain & Give Thanks , a Thanksgiving themed sustainable agriculture event. In this event we will go over some food system issues in New York State, and share ways to shop sustainably and reduce food waste during the holiday season. We will also have an Autumn themed Bingo-Scavenger Hunt during the event! Lastly, we will show in real time how to reuse your food scraps to make a yummy Thanksgiving meal. Sustain & Give Thanks will take place a t 4:00pm on Thursday, Nov. 18th over Zoom .
