Please join the Women and Gender Studies Program Annual Virginia Frese Palmer Women’s History Month Celebration as we explore the role of laughter, comedy, and joy in social justice and change.

Showing us that laughter does indeed matter, four funny feminist folx prove that humor can motivate even the hardest hearts to think differently about the world.

Join comics and writers Kelli Dunham, Terry Galloway, Lisa Haas, and QC alum Lorena Russi for an afternoon of hilarious conversation about gender, bodies, and power.

If you find yourself down-in-the- dumps or perhaps you are in need of advice about school, work, the MTA, food, dating, cats, or what it means to be a feminist today, then our panelists will offer advice to questions submitted during the show. Bring your questions and your curiosity!

This event will be moderated by Director of Women and Gender Studies, JV Fuqua, and WGS Program Assistant, Nathalie Avalo.
